I did something really stupid today. I tried to transfer my ipod song list to the laptop and add new songs but I accidentally clicked something and all my songs disappeared from my ipod. Panic! So I immediately switched on the old cranky computer that overheats that had my original song library to try and salvage my ipod songs from disappearing into thin air. Ha. As luck would have it, the computer shut itself down after downloading 7 songs. Sooo.... my ipod has a grand total of 7!!! songs. Most of the previous songs were downloads which are stored in the same old cranky computer so I can't redo my songlist on this laptop.

I'll have to wait at least a day before trying to switch on the computer again. So angry. For the time being, I'm deprived of music. Which brings me to the question: So if you click update ipod on a computer that has no songs in itunes yet, your previous songs disappear and then how do you get them back? Argh. I guess I'll just try to play around with the whole mess after my hundred odd songs get transfered back to my ipod. (Which I really hope will happen, what if the computer refuses to last long enough to transfer everything back!!!)
